The Java User Class action (JUG) occurs as community of users of the Java programming language. Virtually all JUGs come geographically-attached, like a PhillyJUG (Philadelphia, America) & a DFJUG (Brazil).

Generally, members of the JUG trend lines every more across:

regular meetings (e.g. monthly) mailing lists the collaborative web site or even wiki survey groups for Java certification exams

Prefer more technology user groups, many JUGs handle costs by meeting inside training or even community spaces (e.g. university lecture halls) and/or interrogatory local corporations to sponsor single meetings.

Publishers such as O'Reilly and Apress often send free books to be distributed at JUGs in exchange for the posting of public reviews of those books.
